I tried to restrict some logged-in users from accessing the entire Buddypress but for some reason it’s just not working. This is what I did:

    On Condidional Logic,
Select Content Type: I selected Buddypress Profiles. The fill-in field right next to it shows All Sections. I left it the way it was since I wanted to block the entire Buddypress.
Settings: I turned on Negate Conditions , left Singulars and Archives on

    Synchronized Role: Subscriber

Then I logged in a Subscriber’s account but still can access BP like no restriction at all.

Also, is it possible to also block this level of members from making comments on all posts and custom post types?

    Thank you.

    Thank you for reporting this.

If you want to restrict all sections of the BuddyPress Profile pages, you should not use the “Negate conditions”, and instead of synchronizing with “Subscriber”, you should select a higher role (if your goal is to deny access to these pages for subscribers).

In general, when you select something to restrict, it means that only users with that level (and admins) are able to see the restricted content.

Restricting commenting is not currently supported out of the box, but can you tell me more about your use case?
