    Hey there,

I’d like to restrict some of the available filters (in this case ‘Members’, ‘Forums’, ‘Groups’, ‘Activity’, ‘Messages’) to logged in users.

For non-logged in visitors, only posts should be searchable. Is it possible to enable that kind of functionality?

Something like additional checkboxes for each component to restrict those searches to logged-in users would be a possible solution UI-wise, I guess?

My usecase is a private, small community with a public blog-webpage and the community/buddypress parts being private using the

    plugin.

    Best regards,
    George

    George,

I’m not certain your use case is the norm. We do offer custom development if you wanted that feature but I can’t see us adding that feature right now.

    Dear BuddyBoss,

thank you for the reply and the honesty ??

I found a kind of solution using the “Widget Logic” plugin, which allows for showing or hiding widgets depending on whether users are logged in or not ??

    All the best!
