Restrict Stripe Loading To Cart & Checkout Page Only

Currently, Stripe loads on each product page on my site.

I’m not seeing Stripe loading on your product page https://madeforsapiens.com/product/laptop-palm-rests/. As you can see from the below screenshot stripe.js is not loaded there. Can you tell us how do you notice that Stripe is loaded?

I’m looking at Google’s pagespeed.web.dev, and here are what Pagespeed indicates as instances of Stripe js loading on each of the product pages;

Hey @rainfallnixfig – is there any news on Stripe js loading on non-checkout pages, and any code we can use to suppress this?

Do note that the stripe.js would load if there are “Payment Request Buttons” enabled in Stripe settings: https://woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#express-checkouts-settings

If there is no payment request button active, then stripe.js would not load on the product pages, except there is a cache plugin (or another plugin) that could be adding that code.

What to do in this case?

– You can clear your browser’s cache following the instructions on this page:
https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
– Clear the site cache, you can refer to this guide.
– At this point, kindly check if you see stripe.js on product pages.

Please note the recommendation is to exclude WooCommerce pages from cache, to learn more please refer to:
