    Hello
In “Restrict taxonomies”, when I add several categories they look empty. Nothing is visible.
    I appreciate your help

    Hey @hugaen

    Thanks for opening a ticket.

Can you tell me some more details.

    – What post type is set in custom layouts?
    – With categories, are these the default categories that come with wordpress? (ie, not a custom taxonomy you created)
    – Can you show me a screenshot of what it looks like when you try to choose a category?

    Thanks

Hi, the problem appears when you choose Tags only for taxonomies or when you choose multiple categories and/or tags.

it shows “No post found” but only in the backend(Gutenberg) and works normally in the frontend.

    Hi all

I will be double checking this week and update with a fix once I can recreate – I may come back here to ask additional info to help me get to the bottom of the issue.

    Thanks

    Hey @dulleca + @hugaen

Sorry for the delay, finally getting round to the next batch of fixes for Custom Layouts.

I’m afraid I’m still having problems recreating this – please see the attached video:
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qsFnqaZDnWrsJdzdAbfs8ng-5gSrJQDL/view?usp=sharing

I’m assuming that your experience is not the same?

Would it be possible to see a video of the issue in action?

And would you be able to open the JavaScript console at the end of the video so we can see if there are any errors thrown there?

Thanks for your patience, I’m keep to track this down.

    All the best

Ah, the video is taking a while to encode in google drive, if you can’t play it, you might have to download it.

    Thanks

    Hi Ross,

I guess the problem has something to do with tags that are written in languages other than English, especially right to left scripts, you can recreate it by assigning some posts to tags written in another language.

    Check the video here:

    https://www.veed.io/view/3f35ad1d-81df-4734-9642-a5f554055fbc

as for the categories, it works fine with any language.

I don’t know if it’s the same problem @hugaen had, but it doesn’t bother me as long as it’s working well on the frontend.

    Regards.

@dulleca , I didn’t think I was going to get an issue when using an RTL language… but you hit the nail on the head! Thanks for that, I now have a reproducible bug I can work with to resolve…

Will get that fixed and will send you the beta to confirm the issue is resolve (I’ll drop a link here).

    Best

Well then, I’ll wait for the beta version.

    Thank you.

If you manage to test, please let me know if it works for you!

Hi Ross, I confirm it’s working with RTL scripts.

    Thank you.
