Restrict video posting to JUST YouTube / Vimeo shares

  • I have a music BuddyPress site where I allow a user to share/post videos. I would like to restrict the video to share from YoTube/Vimeo.

    The reason being… I only have a HostGator VPS account and don’t want to blow the storage out the water.

    So wanting to inform the users that they must first upload video to YouTube/Vimeo… then they can share the video on my BuddyPress site.

    So, in case they don’t follow instructions or don’t take the time to read it… I am wanting an option that prevents them from uploading video directly on BuddyPress site.

    Any help would be most appreciated.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, our plugin does not contain the functions you need.

    Or are you looking for developers to create a similar function?

    HI,

    Thanks for quick reply. Not so much looking to develop anything App wise. But might look on Fiverr to get someone to add functionality to WordPress .php to achieve what I’m looking for… if indeed they can.
