• Hi,

I’m trying to use the function that Restricts visibility to members only but it’s not working. It displays even to non-logged in users.

I also tried the ”by role” restriction but also does not work

    any tips ?

  • Hi @kitebud

Thank you for using the PPOM!

    That’s weird.

I tried it just now it works fine on my end. Firstly, I tried to restrict visibility by members worked fine. Then tried by role (e.g: customer) worked fine again. I don’t see any problem there. Are you sure your PPOM versions are up to date?

If you can replicate the issue on a tastewp.com instance please let me know, I would like to help you.

    Have a great day!

Sorry I’ve tried this multiple times, cleared my cache, etc. still not working…

Can you send me step by step instructions on how you achieved this ?

    Hi again @kitebud

I’ve investigated that. I can say the feature needs the PPOM Pro version to work on it.

Unfortunately, there is an issue with the UI&UX experience; we should have a locked area to emphasize the visibility condition that needs the PRO feature. Currently, it seems available, but not. If you install and activate stable PPOM Pro, you will see it will start to run as expected.

I’ll take note about we need development to be able to emphasize the visibility feature is a PRO feature.

Also a reference from another ticket: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/ppom-fields-visibility-doesnt-work-version-30-0/

Sorry for the misunderstood and for your time and thank you for your understanding!
