• After recent updates to this plugin, I am running into consistent problems across multiple sites receiving the Restricted Access by Admin error. When I turn off the Limit Login Attempts completely, we are able to access, but not with any level of that settings on (1-5).

My crazy guess is that the same IP address is being logged for all visitors and so the block applies across all IPs instead of just the offender.

When trying to identify IP blocks or activity, I see the Recent Activity section of the plugin is logging the IP address for all visitors as the IP address of the server and not the visitor. Could this be the problem? Thanks!

Follow up… I believe this is a result of recent migration of the site within Siteground’s servers. I think all ips are being logged the same since the traffic is forwarded internally from one server to another.

    Hello @scottbothel,

The issue in question is not caused by the All-inclusive Security Solution by SiteGround plugin. This is a result of a recent change to your website DC which was communicated over an email.

Please ensure that you check the IP hostname of the hosting plan you are using in the Site tools panel > Dashboard > IP and Name Servers. There you can see the IP and change it from your NS zone so the A record points to the new IP. This will resolve the issue as currently due to IP forwarders the requests are logged as coming from the old server IP you were on.

If you have any questions, please open a Helpdesk request from your SiteGround Client Area.

    Best regards,
    Georgi Ganchev
