restricted pdf in google doc embedder shows html

  • Hi,

    I have created a site where some files are only visible for logged in clients. s2member does the trick except I want to show them in google doc embedder. If I put the direct url to the file it show heml in the google doc embedder. I have tried advance mod-rewrite but no success.

    Any ideas?

  • Surely if you use the Google doc embedder you are never going to be able to protect them?

    Using anything from Google makes it public. You need to find an alternative. But, then again, surely PDFs can be viewed easily in a browser these days anyway without the need for a plugin.
