Restricting / allowing the assignment of Custom Taxonomies

first of all, a really great PlugIn. Thank you for that.
I am trying to allow the assignment of custom taxomies to a custom post type. Like mentioned in that post

I managed to allow the default categories to be assigned. Is there a way to do this with the custom taxomonies too?
