Restricting categories

    Yes, but you will need to hack the code.

    Make your category adjustments in function save_cats() in this file:
    buddypress-simple-events\inc\pp-events-create-class.php

    And remove the category options display from this template:
    buddypress-simple-events\templates\members\single\profile-events-create.php

    Thanks! Is it possible to get you to add this as an option? I prefer to not directly hack a plugin if possible. An admin option to select a category for associating the events and then hiding the category from BP users. I don’t mind compensating of course.

    We have no plans at this time to add such an option.
