Restricting content in sub-categories

    I can see that it’s possible to restrict access to a category and posts within that category, which is great. But is it possible to automatically restrict access to sub-categories and posts within those sub-categories, so that we don’t have to laboriously enter each sub-category into the restriction?

    Thank you for using Content Control.

    The content restriction for ‘A post with Category’ is based on the category ID. The sub-category has its own ID as well.

    It doesn’t use the ID of the parent category. You’ll need to add the sub-category to get the ID and restrict the content.

    Our developers are currently working on improvements for Content Control, so there might be things to look forward to in the future updates.
