Restricting course content

Hi,

We are going to use this plugin to assign user access levels when creating users for students on different courses and also apply a timeout for access so a younger sibling cannot use the same account to access course content in the following year.

I am looking for support on suitability and application for legacy users. Thanks very much in advance.

1. Does the general description sound like an off-the-shelf fit for this plugin?

2. I do not have enough experience yet to implement a one-time update script so learning that now, do you have any advice about the recommended practice to create & run update for all exisitng/legacy users to have user-access-level meta applied? This would be based on their most recent woo purchase history category. Not looking for a tutorial, just an idea.
