restricting display of media files

    hi pmpro team

    i’ve logged in as a member and can see that the entire media library is available to them. is there a way to restrict the display of images to just those uploaded by each member?

    Hi @chemboy

    Thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

    This sounds like a user roles and capabilities issue. This functionality is part of WordPress core as PMPro does not control or modify what the user can see in the media library.

    Filtering what media is visible per user may require custom code by you or your developer. I am not sure if this works as I have not tested this but you may look into achieving this using the WordPress pre_get_posts hook.
