Restricting Promote_Users Role Capability?

  • I need the ability to allow certain roles to promote users without allowing them the ability to promote themselves or someone higher than one role below them.

    This is so they can’t make themselves or anyone else an administrator or equal to their own role.

    Anyone know how I can achieve this?
