Among my posts 5 are restricted. User A cannot see them but can see the others.
If I display the 5 latest posts on a page, User A will not see 5 posts if some of these posts are restricted. This is because the filter of the 5 latest posts is applied BEFORE the filter for the restriction.
Request : would it be possible to reverse the order of the 2 filters. Filter for the restriction first then filter for the latest 5 so that user A would be able to see the 5 latest posts he is allowed to see ? The same thing for the recent posts by category when there is a restriction.
    Thank you.

    Hi @michelb-1

Sorry but it’s not clear to me. Where do these posts display? Is it in the Profile page > Posts Tab?

Thank you for your fast answer.
It could be on any page of the site where a limited number of posts are displayed in descending order of dates but the most simple example is the posts page. In the settings of WordPress, Readings, I have chosen to limit the number of posts per page to be displayed to 5. I have also used a tag to restrict some posts to a group of users having a UM role. As a result the other users see less than 5 posts on the posts page if among the 5 most recent posts some are restricted. This is because the program selects first the 5 most recent posts and then eliminates the restricted ones. I would prefer the reverse : eliminate the restricted posts from the total list of posts first and then select the 5 most recent remaining. Another example is the category page : the program selects first the 5 most recent post of the chosen category and only after applies the filter for the restriction to eliminate some.
    Thank you for your attention.

    Hi @michelb-1

    Sorry for the late response.

Unfortunately, this requires deeper customization. We don’t have a custom code to achieve this. hopefully, someone in the forum has done something similar and share their code here.
