You can use the [content_control logged_in] restricted content here [/content_control] shortcode to do something like that.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot but how I need to set the restriction ?

@lombagol I’m not sure I understand. Wrap the content with the shortcode, its protected until the user logs in. If you want it restricted to a specific role, use the roles="subscriber" in your shortcode.

@danieliser can the shortcode work across different elements, or does it only work for the element it is in?

I am using WPBakery Page Builder.

EDIT – Seems to be working now – possibly may have been an issue with cache?

The plugin does not seem to work well with WPBakery Page Builder when dealing will restricting content across multiple element.

It works fine when using the text editor, whereby you can add the shortcode outside of elements, however when you go to the page builder, it creates elements to house the shortcode, which in-effect stops the code from working and also affects the existing content on the page. This means you have to go back to the text editor and manually add the shortcode in the right places, and remove the extra tags that house the other shortcodes that was added by the page builder.

Is there a fix or workaround for this??
