My plugin just leverages the built-in search functionality in bbPress itself! So, I cannot do anything to the search results itself, as this is all handled by bbPress.
What my plugin does since version 2.0.0 is to offer an search input box, just like the original bbPress search widget – but mine gives you more options, that’s the only difference. Not more, not less.
I’d really appreciate it if you could adjust your rating accordingly to my information above and also make a support request here in the forum, plus maybe also in the official bbpress support forum at https://bbpress.org/
