Hi there! All goes well with this plugin until I have pasted the pixel tracking code in and click update. The page displays, and the validation occurs in Facebook. Then, I get the dreaded WordPress white screen of death, with the tiny word “error” in the top left hand corner (on all user and admin screens).

Do you have known conflicts with any other plugins or themes? If I remove the entire plugin via ftp, I get my site back to normal. Have tried 2 separate installs and setup, giving the same consistent result.

My theme: Mr. Tailor – https://themeforest.net/item/mr-tailor-responsive-woocommerce-theme/7292110

List of plugins on my site:
    Akismet
    BackWPup
    Contact Form 7
    Envato WordPress Toolkit
    Google Analytics by Yoast
    iThemes Security
    Mailchimp for WordPress Light
    Revolution Slider
    Simple Custom CSS
    Tax Rate Upload
    Use Google Libraries
    W3 Total Cache
    WooCommerce
    WooCommerce Header Category Image
    WooCommerce Sizes Charts by Gema75
    Wordpress SEO by Yoast
    WP-Optimize
    WPBakery Visual Composer
    WP Smush.it

    Thank you!!

  • bheyde,

That’s strange – after over 9,000 downloads of this plugin, this is the first report I’ve gotten of a white screen of death. No, I’m not aware of any conflicts with any themes or plugins, but of course anything is possible. Can you please try the following?

    1. Deactivate all plugins (except this one) and change your theme.
    2. Create a new page named “Testing” or something similar.
    3. Paste the following code into the Facebook Conversion Pixel box, check the checkbox to have it inserted, and save changes: <script>window.onload=function(){alert(‘FCP plugin is working’);};</script>
    4. Visit that newly created page on the front end of the site. You should get a pop-up box that says “FCP plugin is working”.
    5. Re-activate your theme, and your plugins one by one, refreshing the newly created page in between each one. If you ever refresh the page and don’t see the “FCP plugin is working” popup box, you’ll know that the theme/plugin you just activated is the one causing the conflicts.

Hope that helps narrow down the problem. Thanks.
