• I use H5P “Interactive Book” with “Fill the Blanks” content on my website. I have both “User Results” and “Save Content State” enabled. But results are not beign saved/logged anywhere, nothing seems to happen after the book is completed. Reloading the page just resets everything like no progress have been made

I can’t find how to solve it.

    Can anyone help me?`

  • Hi @designediec

The answer is simple: That feature has not been implemented into Interactive Book yet.

There’s a ticket for that issue at https://h5ptechnology.atlassian.net/browse/HFP-3225 and there’s even a pull-request with the required code at https://github.com/h5p/h5p-interactive-book/pull/59, but the H5P core team will still need to find time to review and merge in if they want to use it. Don’t know if and when they will.

If you mean storing the score (not saving and restoring the previous state using the “save content state” feature that you mentioned): You’ll have to set the “LRS dependent content types” setting. That will allow a submit button tp show, and results should be saved once the user submit them by using this button.

    Best,
    Oliver
