  • What are you trying to accomplish? I’m not sure if I understand your question–personally, I use the WP Job Manager Visibility add-on (along with a membership plugin) to make resume pages private.

I’ve made the Dashboard and jobs pages private and edited functions.php to allow subscriber access, however when I go to resume manager settings and try to setup the 3 pages my private pages are not listed I.e, I can’t select them. I’m looking for a plugin which will allow private page permissions to be adjusted so as to allow their visibility in resume manager settings. This means that the add resume link/button is not shown.

Hmm, it sounds like there must be some conflict between how you edited functions.php (or the membership plugin you are using?) and the WPJM Resume Manager add-on, which is preventing you from selecting the private pages you created as the Submit Resume Page, Candidate Dashboard Page, Resume Listings Page in its settings. Since the Resume Manager add-on is a premium add-on, the WPJM staff will only be able to help you via logging-in to your account and submitting a ticket, here.

In case it is helpful to mention, I use Ultimate Member to make pages (or even just parts of pages, using shortcodes) private by user role in tandem with the WPJM plugins, which has worked really well.

I’ve worked around the issue. I edited the page number in the wp_options table of the database. The plugin may not display the private pages, however they can still be entered into the database. My private pages now work as required without any additional plugins etc. The resume manager settings pages page how indicates that no pages have been set and so clearly the plugin won’t display private pages even if they are set directly in the wp_options database table, however this doesn’t matter as long as it works.

    Hi!

Since it sounds like you’ve figured it out, I’ll mark this as resolved. However, since it also involved Resumes, please contact us directly for further help if needed, as we are not allowed to support our paid plugins in these forums:
