• Re: Icegram Version 1.10.2

In the default (example) campaign, in the Display Rules tab, I have enabled “Once CTA is clicked, do NOT show this campaign again for”, with it set to “Never”.

However while testing, even after I quickly click the button in the ActionBar, the other messages in the campaign still display. And, BTW, clicking the CTA on the ActionBar does not close it. It only hides it leaving the “arrow” handle visible.

No matter which message or CTA I try clicking, all the messages of the campaign still display on that page and on subsequent pages.

My browser’s cookie manager shows that this plugin is not setting any cookies; though other plugins do.

So, either this is a bug, or I’m doing something incorrectly.

    @terryg-1,

    Thank you for using Icegram.
There are some points you can try.
1.If you are trying this in preview mode of campaign then display rule will not work.
2.If you have any caching plugin install on your site, please enable “Lazy Loading” option from Icegram > settings> Lazy Loading.
3.Check if you have any javascript error on console which is blocking Icegram js from setting cookies.

If this will not help you let us know.
    You can contact us here.

    Thank you for the response.

    1. I am not using “Preview Campaign”
    2. There is only one plugin enabled: Icegram
    3. There are no errors in the console.

I got a brainstorm and tried a different browser. And, it works — sort of.

On a fresh page load, after clicking the action button in the ActionBar (the very first message to display), the other three campaign messages still popup.

However, none of the messages display on subsequent page loads.

Shouldn’t all further campaign messages be suppressed after even one of the CTA’s are clicked?

Unfortunately this is set up on my localhost server, and there is no public access.
