    Dear support team,

I have a question. I would like having a user to be able to return to their purchased items (download page) both after changing their user data (registration page) and from the login profile page when they are already logged in. Of course I could add a button manually, but since every user buys different content, the link on the button cannot be static. Do you have me a solution for this?

Then I would like to offer several courses for purchase on the site. What happens if an already registered user buys another course? I see, that I could build different download pages with a list of combined course downloads. But since the membership of a user doesn’t change automatically after buying another course, I would have to change the membership manually every time when one course was bought – which is an immense effort and secondly, you are not always able to react immediately when a user buys something.
Do you have a solution for this issue?

Thank you very much in advance, kind regards
    Anna

At present we have the following option https://simple-membership-plugin.com/configure-after-registration-redirect-for-members/ available. However from what I understand from your question above, the following addon might be best suited for what you are looking for. https://simple-membership-plugin.com/simple-membership-dynamic-menus-addon/.

?What happens if an already registered user buys another course?

I think the following addon might be what you are looking for.

Let me know if the information above helps you in any way.

    Kind regards.

Thank you very much for the fast answer!
I worked my way through the suggestions. I’ve now solved a lot of things with breadcrumbs. However, I still have the problem that when the customer logs in, he will be redirected to the download page – but than, by mistake, clicks on the login page (which now shows his personal information, membership level etc.), he cannot get back to the site with the purchased downloads. The dynamic menu would be a bit too much just for one link / button….

“Allow Members to Change/Update Their Membership Level” – this could be useful, but I don’t understand, how this could work automatically. Like, when a customer buys a second course, he would be a different membership level immediately. But in that case I either have to manually send him a page where he can update himself, or have to update him in the backend. For me, it is currently not possible to react to every purchase like this immediately.

Maybe you have some suggestions for me….

Thank you very much in advance, kind regards

Try the following documentation. This might work for you.

    https://simple-membership-plugin.com/adding-mini-login-widget-sidebar-header-footer/

If that is the case then this will not work in your case.

Perhaps the following documentation is what you are looking for.

Thank you very much for the answer.

Do I understand correctly, that if a user logs in with membership level 1 and purchases membership level 2, he will automatically be upgraded and has access to the content of level 2? Or do I have to make any settings so that this is possible? Does this also work if you use a Paypal button from WP Express Checkout like I do?

Then unfortunately I have another problem: The swpm-post-notlogged-in-msg?shows up 3 times on a site, see attached. Can you explain why and how to fix this?

    Kind regards, Anna

    Yes that is correct.

Are you using any addons for our plugin? Regarding the message in the above page or post, how have you set up this page or post?

    Kind regards.

I’m using the addons After Login Redirection, WP Express Checkout and Custom Messages – which I used to define the message on the page. Further I’m using Loco Translate in order to translate the content of the plugins.

Regarding the page itself: in the backend I selected that the page should be protected with SWPM and only shown to members of the membership level. I didn’t make any other settings.

    Kind regards!

Thank you providing the information. Does this happen to all the pages and posts protected? Or does this only happen to one page and or one post in particular? Also, are you running a cache plugin in your site?

You might also like to try the following troubleshooting steps.

Thank you very much for answering.

The error that the notice is displayed 3 times does happen on ANY page when I select that it should be protected with SWPM in the backend. I’m running a cache plugin – but I excluded the protected page, cleared the cache in the backend and in the frontend….the bug with the 3 messages is still there.

    Kind regards.

Did you carry out a plugin/theme conflict test? This is very important because our plugin might be conflicting with one of your other plugins and or your theme.

    Regards.
