reveal Author in Product Page Equick Edit Screen

Hi folks, I am haveing struggling to find a solution and after days of hunting I feel like I am the only person with this problem because I haven’t found a solution.

Here is the problem:

I have a new site using a multi-vendor woocommerce configuration. The product pages are created by different users known as vendors. When a user is the vendor who creates a product, all goes rather well.

However, if a different user than the vendor creates a product; the product vendor is assigned but the author is not equal to the vendor.

I have another app that looks at a product and if the author is the user who created the product then they can edit the product. However, if the vendor logs in they can not edit the product because they are not the vendor.

So, other than hitting the database with direct edits, I am looking for a solution to add the author field to the product quick edit (like it is in posts.

Does anyone know how this can be accomplished?
