Reveal coupon code button

  • I’ve been trying to use the Shortcodes Ultimate buttons shortcodes to create a “reveal coupon code” like functionality. What I would like is a button that immediately opens a new window when the button is clicked, and then displays the coupon code itself on the button’s page (either on the position of the button or in a tooltip for instance).

    Any other suggestions to create such type of coupon code button would be welcome.

    I’ve just been experimenting a little more to get a “click to reveal coupon” button using Shortcodes Ultimate. A combination of the tooltip with a button should work and would be an elegant solution.
    I’ve been able to show a coupon code when the “Click to reveal” button is clicked, but I can’t find a way to make a new window open itself when the button is clicked:

    [su_tooltip title="Display Code" content="CODE1" behavior="click"][su_button url="URL" style="flat" size="3" radius="2" center="yes"]Click to reveal[/su_button][/su_tooltip]

    Any ideas?

    Unfortunately not Dan, any ideas are more than welcome! Could also be a nice addition to an upcoming update for the plugin.
