Reverse noindex to index for Subpages of archives

Hello,
Firstly, I set setting to noindex for Subpages of archives but now i want to be index all page/2/ etc.
From the setting I choose to be index and push save but nothing happened.
It insists to not be crawled and I am seeing 404 error page.What I must do?
