reverse=1 does not work with visitor and visitor-only

    reverse=1 does not work with visitor and visitor-only

    when I put visitor or visitor-only with custom role it not work while custom role work with reverse=1

    also I tried visitor or visitor-only with role and reverse=1 ==> does not work

    but custom roles work with reverse=1

    can you please guide me!

    Hello @nassirnetwork,
    reverse cannot work with visitor and visitor-only because the opposite of a visitor is a logged-in user. So, if you want to exclude Visitors, simply use thesubscriber role.

    to exclude visitor I tried both of
    [private? role=”custom” custom_role=” subscriber”? reverse=1]
    [private? role=”subscriber”? reverse=1]

    but it not work and the content not appear for visitor and login in users

    If you want to exclude Visitors from reading a text, you can use this shortcode:

    [private role="subscriber"]Text for all logged-in users[/private]
