Suddenly while using this addon my post order got reversed on live site. In admin part it shows correct order, but on web it listed from last to first. Any ideas how to fix this?

There is a new functionality included, it also apply query order DESC or ASC if exists. Apparently your query is set to DESC, so it reverse the outputted order.
You can disable this behavior from plugin settings at Settings > Post Types Order > Use query ASC / DESC parameter ( available within plugin version 1.9.3.3 )

    Thank you for the clarification!

Hello, I am having a similar problem with the latest update. After installing the update, the order of my posts seems to have been reversed. Is it possible that the default sorting direction changed with this update?

E.g. prior to this update, my posts were ordered correctly like this (in the dashboard and the query):

    1. Post A
    2. Post B
    3. Post C

Today, just by installing the update (no changes to the plugin’s settings or the queries), they look like this (in the dashboard and the query):

    1. Post C
    2. Post B
    3. Post A

So to restore the correct order, I would need to re-order these posts manually, or update my templates to include the ASC/DESC parameter (where this wasn’t necessary before).

    Thoughts? Thanks for your time.

    Hi @kbestmns
First please make sure you run version 1.9.3.3 which was released few hours ago.
Then go to Settings > Post Types Order > Use query ASC / DESC parameter -> ensure this setting is off (unchecked)

That should do it and keep everything as before.

New update fixed my problem, didnt even have to select reverse sort switch. Thanks!

This same thing happened for me. However, I am using the Advanced version of the plugin and it doesn’t have the setting you mentioned to turn off.

How can I get it to work how it did before?
