  • Hi man,

I’m thinking about getting this plugin aswell. So I thought when the webp images are not served in IOS, jpeg would be shown instead?

    Isn’t that what’s happening for you ?

No, on the iOS or Safari on Mac OS X you can’t see photos at all, or sometimes you see broken images. Webp it is complete crap. Do no use this shit, or you will lose all Apple customers.

Thank you mate, i appreciate the feedback. I will certainly go with your advice.

Webp is recommended by Google page insight, but this was a known fact that they arent compatible with mac platforms.

What i was hoping for is that the plugin should switch to jpg when it’s on mac, maybe there is another plugin that does this job.

After you disabled the plugin, you still have problems ?

When you remove this plugin, you have to clear all cache what you use in WordPress and Cloudflare or CDN if you use.

This plugin seems to be doing the job, they told me that images are shown when webp isn’t supported in some browsers, it has great positive feedbacks, let me know of what you think:
