I have an understanding of reverting images back to server from S3 and as I am using the ‘lite’ version I realise I will need the ‘pro’ version to do this. I have a question.

Would a single licence work on both live and staging environments as I’d rather do a ‘Download’ test run on the staging site before implementing on the live site?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Yes, you only need a single license.

WP Offload Media licenses can be used on multiple WordPress installations, the license plans cover different levels of managed offloads across all the sites that are using the license.

And as long as a staging or development site has commonly used words in its domain name, such as “staging”, “test” or “dev”, then the offloaded media for that site won’t even be counted towards the total managed offloads.

So in your case testing on your staging site is a great idea and will not eat into your license limit (even it were to, deactivating the license on test or temporary sites after testing would free up the used limit anyway).
