Revert to old wp-admin theme?

  • I just upgraded to wordpress 3.0 and was annoyed to find that the look of wp-admin had changed. I really liked the old look, and I absolutely dispise the new one. I want the place where I spend my time to be dark and easy on the eyes, not to be bright and distracting. Does anyone know how I can either get the old look back or get another dark look?

    Change your theme at Users/Your Profile in the admin panel.

    Thanks, but the theme is still bright. The thing that really makes a difference is the new look of the top bar, which used to make it seem darker. Now the bar is almost white, and the whole look of the admin area is ruined. This isn’t urgent, though.

    same problem to me.
