Reverting to version 4.2.8

I am using this plugin with the Shopp ecommerce plugin and it stopped recording transactions in Analytics starting on October 19 2012, and was fixed on November 6 2012. It worked continually until March 14 2013 and since then has not recorded any transactions.

My guess is that when I upgraded to 4.3 it stopped working to record transactions in Analytics. If I revert to 4.2.8 in order to have transaction tracking work again, would there be any security implications?
