This the fourth data table plugin I have tried and it is by far the the easiest to set up. Great plugin. That said, there, are one or two features which, to my mind, are missing. The biggest one is non-ability to edit front end although, I see from other posts, it’s coming soon. Are you able to put some sort of ball-park timing to this?
I can see how to make the first column sticky but not the header row, and, on the same theme, I would like to be able to choose how many columnns I can make sticky. Ideally, with the table I have set up, I would like it to be four.
As my table is a duty rota the ability to filter on dates is extremely useful.
Since starting to compile this post I have come across a problem which is a bit of a show-stopper for me. After importing the table from Excel, I have noticed all the times have moved one hour ahead of where they were in the spreadsheet. According to my WP settings my timing is based on London (I’m in the UK) and the time is showing correctly so I’m not quite sure how this is happening. Fortunately, the table is not very big at the moment (something like 45 records) so it wasn’t a great task to alter them manually. However, I now notice that, at some stage, they have reverted back to 1 hour ahead. In the future I’m afraid this will be untenable and I will have to continue to look for another solution.
I sincerely hope you can offer me a solution to these issues, particularly the last one, as I really like the program.
Kind regards
Tony
