    I have some questions and issues with the review block that I’m trying to figure out.

    First, is it possible to customize the review categories permanently? I have been doing posts where just about every single one is a review, but I have to change the pre-filled pros and cons and categories every time, because Stability, Ease of Use, Look/Feel, and Price aren’t the items I use. Is it possible to have the terms I use pre-populated?

    I’m also having issues with adding the Pros and Cons. Each time I type a letter, it’s added and then the menu collapses completely. I’ve been able to make due by typing my comment in a text document and copying it over, but it’s a really weird workaround to have to use.

  • I have the same issue with Pros and Cons losing focus after each letter and have been waiting for the fix. For now, you can revert to version 1.7.0, and things are fine.

    As for your other problem — prefilled categories, make a reusable block template for each type of product, add it and convert it to a regular block each time you review a new one. That’s the idea.

    At the moment there is no way of changing the behavior of the default values for the pros, cons and categories, however, this feature will be considered for the future update of the plugin.

    Hi,

    The fix for the losing focus is planned for the upcoming release. You can track it here.

    @ngodong suggested an excellent method for reusing the block with the desired default settings. In future releases, we will introduce the possibility of setting new custom defaults values for the block; thus, every created block from that point will have those settings without making a reusable block template for every block.

    The issue with Review Block losing focus should be solved so please let us know if it all works fine now!

    And we will add option to add predefined Features label to an upcoming version too. Hope you enjoy using our block.
