Review count is showing wrong number

Please share a screenshot (full screen) when you deactivate all plugins except CusRev and WooCommerce, switch to the standard theme of WordPress. If you use the shortcode [cusrev_all_reviews], you can add it to the product content and it should display in the tab Description.

Hi, so I recorded a video so you could see by yourself:

As you can see with the default theme, WooCommerce only it still shows wrong…

As you can see, the review count is 10, but the plugin is showing 19… It’s not a conflict with the plugin nor with the theme.

Can you further help we with this?

Thanks for your additional information.

Please go to Admin Dashboard > Comments and count all the reviews/comments are linked to this product. It looks like you have some additional comments for this product in the database that look like reviews.

Hi, nope that’s not the case. You can verify by posting a review and you will see that it immediately counts double.

Hi,

It could be a plugin or a block of code that duplicates the number of reviews on your site. As you can see it does not happen on my site https://share.getcloudapp.com/JrunxQwn

You can try to create a fresh install of WordPress, CusRev, and WooCommerce to test this issue again.

Can you please also answer the question that was asked above? If you go to WordPress admin on “Comments” page, how many comments do you see there for this product from your last video?

As a next step, can you please repeat the same test with adding a new review after temporarily deactivating all other plugins except WooCommerce?

Hi, So I found out it’s conflicting with the following plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/delicious-recipes/

If It’s enabled, reviews count double. This only happens though when your plugin is installed, if your plugin isn’t installed the count is correct.
