    Hi,

I’ve been using Site Reviews for some time now for both ‘global’ site reviews (shortcode in footer, which generates a schema for every page) as well as ‘product’ reviews. Since a couple of months, I’ve been receiving the ‘Review has multiple aggregate ratings’ error from within Google Search Console. The consequence is that in Google Search Results, at best, the review schema is only working for the global site reviews, but the product reviews are not shown. It doesn’t show any schema for product pages.

I read other forum posts on the same topic, and while I’ve tried activating/deactivating the Woocommerce integration, as well as adding/removing schema=”true”, it doesn’t help. Everytime I try to revalidate the issue on Search Console, it says the problem is still there.

Also, enabling the Woocommerce integration removes all default product reviews I already have. I know there is an import feature, but isn’t there a way to use the default Woocommerce product reviews with schema, and the global site reviews schema for non-product pages. Ideally, I’d like product pages to use the default Woocommerce schema (which has been working great in the past) and to have all other (landing/global pages) work with Site Reviews’ schema.

Could you please help me removing the multiple aggregated reviews error?

    These are my current settings:

    Thanks!

The schema should only be enabled once on a page. Remove the schema option from the global review in your footer.

No, because Site Reviews does not use the comments database table to store reviews unlike WooCommerce. If you are using the WooCommerce integration then you should import your existing Product reviews into Site Reviews using the tool provided.

And, unless you are using using one of the provided schema plugin integrations, then you will need to change the Schema Type in the Site Reviews settings to “Product” in order for the rating schema to work on your product pages.

Product rating schema is more important than your global site rating schema as that will not generate rich snippets in Google whereas the Product rating schema should.

Thanks for your reply. I have removed schema=”true” from the global site rating schema and have resubmitted for validation through Google Search Console. Hopefully this will fix the product schema.

However, does this mean all my other (landing) pages (non-product pages) will lose their schema in the search results? If so, isn’t there a way we can add global site rating schema to non-product pages and product rating schema to product pages? It would be nice to keep our global site rating schema too, as this makes our landing pages stand out in the search results.
