Review Localization

  • I have been translating this plugin into Spanish and I found some inconsistencies in https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/ml-slider/trunk/ml-slider.php#L1407 and its following lines.

    In the ‘options’ array you have key/value pairs in which the key is the slug of the effect and the value is the label for that effect.

    I think there is a mistake with the slide/slice terms and I would not like to translate this part without having enough knowledge about which kind of effect is being mentioned.

    Could you please review the slide/slice strings?

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    The “Slice” description is taken directly from Nivo Slider. If you create a slideshow, switch it to Nivo Slider and select one of the “Slice” effects, you should see what it does (it’s hard to describe in words, but it “Cuts” the image into multiple slices and slides each “slice” upwards) – so it is not the same as “Slide”. I hope that helps somewhat. If you translate it to Cut or Slice I think it would make about the same amount of sense in Spanish as it does in English ??
