on overall looks good, you may need to change the logo looks jagged and outdated with that gradient.
also the color scheme is not consistent you have used 4 different color for the links, and the footer background should be wide.

I think the site looks cool. I agree that the logo is a little out dated, and the terms hr.bytes and hr.speaks does not make sense to me, but that might change when you start to use the site more often.

The illustrations used for the posts are very cool and makes the whole website look and feel more active and creative, but I feel that the posts would have benefited with even more photos and illustrations than the main one.
