    Hi, I activated the plugin and the reviews show on the page. Unfortunately, the review schema is not automatically populating in the source code. Is there a button I need to press to automatically deploy this, or do I just wait 24 hours? Not sure how to get the review schema on the pages. Thanks for your assistance.

    @keirasurf Just a few things to check:

    • The Structured Data will appear on the home page, so do check there
    • If you have a caching service in play, be sure to clear the page cache to see this reflected in the home page

    Hi,

    Yes, we have structured data on the homepage. I have schema on all pages. But no review schema was added after I added the plugin.

    @keirasurf The Structured Data is only added in one place upon activation, within the <head> of the front page (not all pages). You can enter your URL into this Schema check tool to verify it exists.

    I did check this page and the other page mentioned, but I cannot see any Structured Data for reviews.

    Once added, please check your page cache is cleared (if this is in place).

    This plugin offers reviews of a business using the Schema for “Local Business”. Reviews must be attached to something, and here it is to a business.

    You have mentioned another website that contains schema, the service schema was fine, but the review data was applied incorrectly because it was not a product. This plugin doesn’t offer schema for a product (or a service); only a local business.

    There are other plugins that will offer a much more comprehensive array of options for Structured Data. You can also apply your own information by placing a JSON string in the <head>, but this isn’t really necessary.

    For the website mentioned in your initial post, I would simply use the standard Structured Data offered by the plugin (with Structured Data offered on the front page) as this will offer reviews in the correct format associated with this business. The gym isn’t a product or professional service and it fits perfectly into the “local business” definition.
