Reviews appearing twice

I’m having this problem too. It looks like you fixed it though? Are you still using a shortcode?

I am also having the same problem it displays three times on the page. I have check the options in the settings, and still no luck in finding on how to disable the repeating display of reviews. It displays on footer part and on widgets. I use wysiwyg widget plugin but I am more confuse because of the other widget doesn’t display the review it just display on my footer widget, content widget and in content in which is right.

Hope someone have solve it already and share it ??

If you only have one review it will show it as recent reviews. Try changing the date to an older time and you should see the triplicate go away.

I’m having the same issue. I used the short code [[WPCR_INSERT] I tried changing the date on one of the reviews and that didn’t work. It’s still showing 2 of both reviews. You can view it here.

Edit note: I fixed it. For anyone else who runs into this issue, after inserting the short code ‘[[WPCR_INSERT]’ , make sure “Enable WP Customer Reviews for this page” is unchecked.

I don’t know if that will work with the other short codes you can use with this plugin.

I tried the various fixes for the same issue but each review is still duplicated.

I also have a client who has a different issue with the plugin. Only half of the testimonials are displayed and clicking on the link for page two makes no difference – it doesn’t display at all.

Getting the same issue here, unchecking the “Enable WP Customer Reviews for this page” fixed the duplicate error messages, but the reviews are still displayed in duplicates.

Weird, I just noticed that if I preview the Review, I see it as normal and displayed once, the message alert box also displays the text once each, once I approve the Review, everything goes twice.

I fixed this problem. If you are using the shortcode [WPCR_INSERT] that’s ok, but then make sure to uncheck the ‘enable plugin for this page’. Moreover, don’t use this shortcode in your page/post ‘[WPCR_SHOW POSTID=”ALL” NUM=”3″ SNIPPET=”” MORE=”” HIDECUSTOM=”0″ HIDERESPONSE=”0″]’ , as it is not necessary, for the feedback results will all display twice.

All above fixes don’t work, not in my case at least, suddenly the form button itself is displaying twice.
Come to think of it, might be better off with a separate method for reviews then using a plugin.

Anyone know how to remove the [WPCR_INSERT] shortcode? We removed it from the text editor but it is still stuck somewhere because it still shows up in the source code. Don’t know how to completely remove it since it is gone from the WYSIWYG. If I could get the shortcode out of there my duplicates would go away.

I’m having the same issue, but I also have a little more.

When you enable via the checkbox on the page, it shows just fine, but is below my social share buttons, which are done through the really simple facebook share plugin. When I put a shortcode in, even with the checkbox off, I get two of the reviews and butons, however one is above and one below the social buttons.

Right now, I’m just using the checkbox, however the content is now below the social buttons, which on every other page are at the bottom.

I would like to be able to use the longer short code so I do the read more and all, but until this gets sorted, I can’t. Like the plugin otherwise.
