Reviews not being deleted

  • Hi, I removed a comment from the backend of WordPress which was relating to the linked product. It was a test comment by ‘admin’ which I am now trying to remove. It does not appear on the backend anymore, however, as you can see it is still being displayed on the product page. Any thoughts?

    Hello there,

    we have been doing some tests and everything looks working fine, we can remove reviews easily and they are not displayed any more.

    Have you done click in the button “Convert reviews” of the plugin general settings?

    You could try also to remove from comments then see if still showing up.

    How strange, I’ve deleted the comment in the WordPress backend and also checked open phpmyadmin to see if the comment was still there, but it is completely gone. I have also pressed Convert reviews and deleted my cache, but the comment is still there. Would it help if I give you access to my site via PM?

    I can’t access to your site.
    You can send here your screenshot to allow me to see your backend.
    By the way, is not possible that the comment is not in the database and is showed on your backend.
    The review must be removed from the “Reviews” tab in the backedn of your site.

    The reason he can’t delete the reviews is because he is only deleting the reviews under “Comments” section. Your way of placing the menus for this plugin is a poor choice to say the least which is exactly why I had the same problem deleting the reviews too.

    You need to delete reviews under “Reviews” link in the admin side too.
