Revise Anchor stops

I built a site for a friend: https://www.metallicgiraffe.com. The Navigation menu is a “sticky menu” built into the theme. When you click a link it scrolls down to the appropriate section however it goes down too far cutting off the section title. I want it to stop above the title. I tried to contact the theme creator with no help. Is there a way to force this change?
