• I’ve noticed this now twice, there is a file in the root directory of my site titled “.revision”

The first time I saw it I changed it to revision.txt and tested the site and nothing was broken. I just noticed it is there again today. The site is hosted on Wpengine and I checked with them but they said it was not a file their system added.

This is the contents of the .revision file:
    99ccb1e7692cd3aa8a6e1ee8c58aa47d0e15d899

Can anyone please shed some light on this for me, I’ve searched but can’t find anything on it.

    Thanks.
