Revision Restrictions and Missing Folders/Projects

  • Hello,

    I hope you are well today! I have a few questions.

    1. Is it possible to restrict file revisions by WordPress role?

    2. Is it possible to restrict downloading of files and only have previews?

    3. When editing a file, if you were to change the name of the file after upload, it puts the file in the main folder. Once this happens, you can’t move the file because there aren’t any available folders/projects under the ‘Edit’ tab.

    1 is not possible
    2. Possible iwth the premium version
    3. We are going to look into this and see if its a bug

    Not at this point

    I was having this problem.

    The issue was that the folder dropdown in the edit view only contains folders created by the current user/group

    When a file was edited it reverted to “No folder” even if the folder location was not deliberately changed.

    Removing the line “WHERE ( uid = ‘”.$uid .”‘ “.$find_groups.”)” from the cdm_premium_projects_dropdown function in the plugin’s functions.php file fixed the issue.
