    Hi,
I am sorry if this was already asked but I could not find an answer which really solved my problems.

    1) Where are the revisions displayed in Gutenberg? The revisions are useful to switch if something goes wrong or if you want to have a look at the last version of your page/post.

    2) I work a lot with custom fields and I would like to know how I can display them in Gutenberg. I know that I have to transform them to blocks, but what are the steps to do so? Where can I find helpful dokumentation about this?
I know that there are some plugins fo custom fields but with the classsic editor I do not need plugins and I would like to work with so few plugins as possible (I really don’t like the approach of WordPress to put so many useless features in core and then you need a plugin or a code snippet to deactivate this, for example the emojies).

    Thank xou in advance!

    Hiya,
The revisions should show on the right side (it may be hidden, if so click the little cog in the top right corner to display them), under the “Document” tab there it will show the revision count, if any exist.

As for documentation on working with Gutenberg blocks, you can find that in the handbook at https://www.ads-software.com/gutenberg/handbook/

    Hi Marius,

thank you, Obviously I was blind ??

I have tried to read in the handbook but I could not find soemthing useful regarding custom fields. It seems to be quite complicated….

    Totally agreed with Svensson36!
I’ve read the Metaboxes part in the Handbook, but still quite confused about metaboxes. And honestly not really getting the logic too. Each metabox will be a block then? How to specify what boxes needs to be accessible or not by template? How to specify where on the page this metabox-block must appear?

I quite agree, the documentation is far from perfect. I know there’s been a push to better it, so hopefully the improvements being worked on there will help you all out as well.

I’d give a link to a specific ticket for it, but there’s honestly so many that no single one would be of much use.
