Revolution Slider Broken After Install AMP

    Hello Author,

    Your plugin worked for me perfectly with Speed if I check on the Google Speed site. But, I have an issue with the Revolution Slider. If I activate the AMP plugin from wp-admin then the Revolutions slider not working & the slider images are broken. Kindly see the screen-shoots.

    Kindly help me with how can I fix this issue. As the site is live so, so I have deactivated the AMP plugin now.

    Hello @jbanik10

    Thank you for the support topic, AMP does not allow custom javascript so the AMP plugin removes them to create valid AMP pages.

    Most of the sliders like the revolution slider are based on javascript so they may not work correctly on AMP.

    We will recommended contacting your plugin author and explore the possibility of using amp-carousel

    For now You can use default WordPress Gallery Block which will have AMP settings to convert it into Carousel (screenshot) , or Default WordPress gallery shortcode eg: [gallery ids="771,770,769" amp-carousel="true"]

    Even better I’d suggest the Slideshow block in Jetpack. It is AMP-compatible and it works on non-AMP pages and AMP pages alike. Granted, this block may not have all the features you need.

    To be honest, the slideshow toggle for the core gallery block/shortcode is somewhat of a legacy back-compat feature.
