Revolution Slider Problem

  • I can’t get Revolution Slider working. I have tried using the WordPress widget and the slider shows up in the dialogue box but doesn’t appear on the page. I have also tried inserting the shortcode into the text widget (Elementor and WordPress widgets) Excellent plugin by the way!!

    I wish I had known this before buying Revolution and wasting an hour trying to make it work with Elementor.

    I would love to know what sliders DO work with Elementor before wasting more time.

    Rev slider is the only plugin which will let full screen or background video play on mobile -even autoplay (!)- and I can confirm that is working with elementor. Adding as a widget (it has rev slider widget) or adding as shortcode with wordpress editor.

    Please try to insert the shortcode of the slider (instead of the official widget) and let me know if it works for you.

    The revolution slider worked great adding in the shortcode widget. Thanks.
    Essential grid is also not displaying and I tried it with the shortcode widget, at least it is actually working on the live site though.

    The shortcode widget doesn′t work for me. However, I can see the slideshow in edit mode. Just not in live on the site.

    I had a similar issue.

    The revolution slider shows in the edit but does not appear on the page. So, I have tried the above mentioned and it did not work for me. The official Revolution Slider widget did not work, the Elementors shortcode widget did not work.

    I made it work by inserting a new Elementors <HTML> widget and pasted the shortcode inside. IT WORKED!

    Then you can play with the top margin to make it look like it is a slider image.

    THE REVOLUTION SLIDER IS THE BEST!
