I’ve installed WordPress in a subfolder of htdocs, let’s call it “subf”. Then I installed a Nevada theme. With it came a couple of plugins, including the Revolution Slider. Installed those.

I built a slider with one slide. I added it to the Home page by clicking “Featured Header” and choosing the slider in the options there.

When I click “View page” button at the top, the slider appears on the home page just fine.

When I go to a new browser page and type in the URL (xxxx.com/htdocs/subf), I see the home page but no slider.

I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that I didn’t install WordPress in the usual htdocs folder. Is the Revolution Slider confused? Most likely I’m the confused one. ??

    Help. Thanks!

Hmm, my guess is that my “Home” page that I’m working on and editing is not the landing page when I go to https://xxxx.com/htdocs/subf.

Where is the setting for the landing page, shown to the website visitor, when they go to xxxx.com/htdocs/subf?

May I know whether this revolutionary slider is for free or not?? so that i could use for my website

Hello, I just searched for it on the Plug-Ins screen, and it did not come up. So it must not be free, sorry.

Revolution Slider is a premium addon available on its own via a third party vendor (search Google for it). A number of theme developers have included it in their premium theme packages also.
