“Rewrite rules must be updated” incorrectly displayed in 1.6.0

I have the same issue. Checking the .htaccess the rewrite rules are applied.

Still a problem with the 1.6.1 update, though everything seems to be working.

Same here with the last update 1.6.1. All works fine.

I have updated the Mod_Rewrite rules in https://www.shoutmecrunch.com/ but still getting

“Rewrite rules must be updated”
The rewrite rules required by this plugin have changed or are missing. Scroll down the Advanced Settings page and click the Update Mod_Rewrite Rules button.

I have checked both root .htaccess and cache folder .htaccess and code is there perfectly. Need to solve quickly.

This was not fixed in WP Super Cache 1.6.1 for me. Tried Deactivating and Reactivating the plugin too. Still get the message no matter what.

Same for me. Same message on all sites even after updating mod rewrite.

Today I updated the plugin – a similar problem.
I hope, soon will correct.

I just switched servers and figured it had something to do with the server config. But I see that everyone is having the problem and I didn’t realize it until checking my sites on the new server.
I also have version 1.6.1 installed

It seems to be a bug in WP 4.6.1 and was fixed and reappeared in 4.9.6

What bugs me is the developers of this plugin are silent on all posts about this problem.
