I don’t see a way to exclude certain types or sources of mail sent by the site. For example, every system e-mail generated to my admin address is, stored, logged and tracked by this plugin. It just needlessly bloats the database. (every password reset, comment posting, and such is tracked. This is mail to ME, not really from the site to the general public.) If I could filter out e-mails to my WordPress admin address, that would be a big help.

Another use case are e-mails generated by a contact form. These aren’t mails to other users or the general public, they are mail sent TO me as the site admin via the form. (or TO other relevant site personnel) This results in contact form spam filling up my db via this plugin. I have other ways to handle the contact form spam, but like the system messages, I don’t need contact form messages stored, logged and tracked.

Thanks! And I otherwise really do like the plugin. It is especially useful for e-commerce to see/prove that customers are reading their cart communications.

    Hi,

This facility is not given by the Email Tracker plugin. I can give you a paid customization code service if you want.

    Thank you,

Exclude admin email, this sounds like a feature that many admins would like for their sites. If not having this feature in the base plug-in (which would be very awesome), this might be something to add to the value of your ‘pro’ version or as a one-time payment add-on (exclude other emails too).

If going the paid route, I personally rather have it as a one-time payment add-on, I don’t think this would be something that would need constant updates or support.
