Rich Text Editor stripping tags

Love the plugin, but for some reason, advanced HTML markup such as
<p>, <ul>, <li>, and all heading tags aren’t displaying in the rich text fields I’ve added. Any idea what could be causing this?https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/buddypress-groups-extras/
